XLII Uruguayan Conference of Buiatrics

Last June 5, 6 and 7 took place in the city of Paysandú (Uruguay) the celebration of the XLII Uruguayan Conference of Buiatria, whose central axis revolved around issues concerning reproduction, animal health and pathology, as well as the production of meat and milk, in a country like Uruguay, with a clear livestock profile, the veterinary profession enjoys a great role, so the seminar was attended by experts from the veterinary profession both nationally and internationally .

Among the various conferences, the presentation of Octavio Catalán, technical director of the ruminant area of ​​INZAR, on “The influence of production factors on the quality of beef” held at the meat symposium. The issue showed a lot of interest in those present and discussed how intensive systems can influence the production of quality meat.
